Petra Cafe - Springfield

This place gave me my first hookah experience and is the only hookah bar I've ever been into so I can't really judge. But going on just pure instinct and the DJs they getting the weekends. Oh man, this is the place to be at in Springfield! Once I movedowntown I'm pretty much going to live here. I just checked my folder. I have a bunch of videos of this place but no photosunfortunately. The inside is amazing though it's just oh wow!

This was my first trip to a hookah lounge. It was interesting. When we walked in it felt very unwelcoming, especially after we told the man we would be using a groupon. After explaining that we are virgins at this a younger man working there helped usdecide what tobacco mix to get, then he offered to light the hookah for us, and later on showed how to clear the stale smoke andrefresh the head. After getting a soda and taking a few puffs we all just kinda relaxed and passed the hose. I thought it waspriced decently, and overall a nice experience. I would definitely do it again.

If I could give this a 0 star I would. The experience simply put was terrible, the food took nearly an hour, the order was made wrong and so our two meals were served 25 mins apart and on top of that, the server wore his mask below his nose the whole timeand the security guard didn?t have a mask on at all. And despite knowing all of this, the owner didn?t bother to offer anyaccommodation for the terrible service. Been coming to this place for years.. but never again.

Love this place. Owner pays personal attention to everyone. Staff is so friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere . No rush. No pushing to order this or that. No hidden charges. Cover charge on weekends, I think, which is fair. If you wanna have a good time, so visit
