Sarita's Taco Shop - Spring Valley

The food here is amazing. The burritos range from being huge to enormous and they're all so tasty that even when you are stuffed you keep trying to eat them. It's a fair drive for me but any time I'm around I am always happy I've stopped in. They can getbusy but they're still pretty fast for how much food they are making.

Food is OK when they actually cook it properly and not rush it ... in the morning they barely answer there phone , a.d when you arrive to pay no one is inside to be seen anyway.

The food tastes great. I?m glad they are not so close as I would be eating here too often. When I go I always see a lot of people, be prepared to wait. That?s just an indication of how popular they are.

Been coming here as long as I can remember and now my kids is obsessed! We have our choice of 100 Mexican Food Places here in San Diego, but the food here is the best. They always get our orders right (and we have a lot of exceptions! THE PRICES AREREASONABLE. Highly recommend the beef chimichanga, the enchilada sause is amazing and it's like 3 full meals.

I tried Sarita 's on my lunch break today and ordered a veggie burrito. I asked the cashier what all came in the veggie burrito, they didn 't know for sure so they asked the cook, rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, and pico . I asked if it also came with sourcream and guac, and they said no. I ordered a burrito with ONLY lettuce, cheese, rice, and beans, paid in cash, and exchangedpleasantries with the cashier. I got the burrito, and headed back to work. I get to my desk to discover that my burrito had guacin it. I checked my receipt and it clearly stated no pico, but didn 't designate that I added guac so I was confused as to why itwas there. I called the restaurant and a different cashier answered the phone. He asked me if I had my receipt, I said yes, thenI explained what I had ordered. I asked if I could just bring my burrito back to be fixed and after an exchange of essentiallymy word against the cook 's, he said I could return to the restaurant tomorrow to talk to the manager. I definitely don 't thinkit was that difficult of a fix, especially when I had my receipt and had just left there.
