No 1 Chinese - Spring Valley

No. 1 is our favorite Chinese restaurant. We’re not sure what the negative reviews are about, but we've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. We especially love the half roasted chicken over roasted rice, which seems to be their specialty. It's rich and absolutely delicious!

I only order Singapore noodles here, and even they can be hit or miss. I’ve tried some other dishes but wasn't particularly impressed. Recently, I had the shrimp lo mein, and I wouldn't recommend it. There were some burned pieces mixed in, which really affected the flavor.

I used to really enjoy Chinese food, but I don't eat it often—maybe once a year. My sister recently ordered from this place and got chicken wings and French fries. They included one or two extra wings, but honestly, they were overcooked, and that really put me off. Chinese food is starting to make me feel uneasy; I just don't trust it anymore. On the bright side, the location is convenient, and the prices are reasonable. However, they do charge a 50-cent fee for debit card transactions under ten dollars. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you're really in a pinch.

I have finally found a spot that makes spicy food that is actually spicy. Good prices for good portions. They have a variety of food, fried chicken, plantains, fries, etc. There's a minimum to pay by card but you can opt for the 50¢ charge.

Eating does not seem very fresh the city very fast and it looks like some of the things were cooked more than once on its taste a little stale, I would avoid the place if I had a choice
