Found this place by googling sushi near me and let me tell them that this is the best sushi in the opposite! the service is fantastic every time we go and the sushi is fresh every time and the prices are reasonable! more than 3 pages of different sushi try and all the Asian foods they need to offer! if they are looking for amazing sushi and in the opposite, I recommend sakura!
This is my go to for sushi nights. The delivery times are usually off. They typically come quicker than they show online when you place your order. Only downside to their online delivery is you have to place a minimum order of $30. My wife and I always end up ordering stuff for lunch to help add up. Food is always great and would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area for delivery, take out or dine in. Friday and Saturday are always their busiest days so keep that in mind.
I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all. From someone with background in the food industry, this was by far the worst customer service I have ever come across. We have spent over a thousand dollars at this restaurant over the past two years and have never had an issue until tonight. After our order was delivered, we realized they did not send the Crab Rangoon we ordered and one of our steak hibachi dinners was raw, not rare… raw. We were not rude when we called in, we simply wanted a refund for the item we did not receive and to make them aware that their food was undercooked. The very rude manager or owner, not sure of his position as he did not introduce himself, informed us that “you Americans eat food different, you should’ve told us how you wanted your steak”… and refused to let us speak as he continued to call us liars. With no concern for the item we paid for but did not receive, he told us we can drive this dinner back to the establishment to have it recooked… as I said, we’ve ordered these same items many times over the past two years and have never come across this issue so no, it was not simply “how they cook it”. We are not ones to make a fuss or look for free food, with background in the food industry I know what it is like to be on the other side of this phone call and could never imagine speaking to customers, loyal ones at that, the way he did. Needless to say, Sakura has lost us as customers. So, if you’re looking for poorly cooked food, missing items, and poor customer service they’re your place!
Ordered a side salad with ranch. The waitress said “okay with ranch”. I said “yes.” She then brings me out a salad with ginger dressing. When I asked to get another with ranch because it wasn’t what I ordered, the chef or manager I don’t know which because he didn’t introduce himself, came out and told me this wasn’t an American restaurant and they only served ginger dressing. No where on their menu do they state this and their waitress confirmed ranch for my salad when I placed my order. Also I cannot eat carrots, I told the waitress this and I still had carrots in my salad. Not very aware of customer safety and could get someone hurt or worse. We had to ask for napkins and silverware as it was not given to us with our food. Also we had to ask for refills on our drinks. I don’t go to a restaurant to ask for everything and argue with the manager about dressing for a salad. Poor customer service all around and the food wasn’t even that good compared to other Asian restaurants. Will never eat here again. Ever.
