Chesapeake Bay Crab House - Spring Hill

The food at this restaurant is the worst in Spring Hill, and that really says something. The steak was mostly gristle and fat, and the prime rib wasn't much better. I genuinely believe this place poses a risk for food poisoning. I recommend heading to Wendy's across the street instead to avoid a potential hospital visit.

We visited today, April 30, 2009, and the hard crabs were fantastic. They were nice and heavy, cooked to perfection. The best part is that they prepare the crabs fresh when you place your order, so it takes a little time, but they come out piping hot and not soggy at all. The crabs were substantial and delicious as well. We will definitely be returning; it almost felt like being back on the Eastern Shore. I know my crabs, and I can confidently say these are as close to home as you can get. Don’t miss the cream of crab soup; it was EXCELLENT. If you're in the mood for hard crabs, you won't be disappointed. They also offer crabs to go; we enjoyed some there and took two dozen home with us. They've gained a customer for life!
