Hunan Jade - Spring

I don't often write reviews; I only do so when an experience is exceptionally good or truly disappointing. I love Chinese cuisine and enjoy everything from decent buffets to high-end restaurants. Unfortunately, this was probably the worst meal I've ever had. The fried rice was just okay, and the beef dishes were lackluster. The potstickers were barely filled, tasteless, and poorly fried. The sauce they served was unlike anything I've tasted before, and not in a good way. Honestly, they should just make their own frozen egg rolls; they would turn out fresher, crispier, and much more flavorful. I won't be returning.

I’m writing this review on 3/18/22, and their current rating is 3.8, while DoorDash lists them at 4.6. If I had known about the 3.8, I probably wouldn't have tried them. The egg drop soup was quite good, and the summer rolls were decent, though the dipping sauce was terrible. Unfortunately, the General Tso’s chicken was the worst I've ever had. The fried rice was okay, but it could have used some vegetables. My colleague mentioned that the wonton soup broth was good, but the noodles were too thick. The egg roll was tasty but overcooked, and the sweet and sour chicken was satisfactory. However, just as we were finishing lunch, I urgently needed to use the bathroom and ended up with explosive diarrhea. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

Its edible.....mostly. Ordered online and the food I got was edible(and missing the soup from a lunch order) if very small portion wise with little meat but the reason for this review is their fried pork dumpling. They are, for lack of a better word, garbage. Over fried, no filling and tasteless crispy wedges if you order from this place don't waste your money on this garbage.

My new favorite spot for Asian cuisine! The Hunan combination fried rice and the lettuce wraps were absolutely delicious! Our order arrived piping hot, and the lettuce wraps looked like they were just picked from the garden. I will definitely be ordering from Hunan Jade again!

I'm afraid this place has bitten off more than it can chew. I mean, this place is a mess... there's a hot water heater sitting in the middle of the restaurant, there's supplies all over the place, they're doing take out only and it always takes a long time to get your food, and when it do actually get your food, it's average at best. It's just not worth it for me and I recommend they reconsider they're business model.
