Hoi Yin Chinese - Spring

I've eaten with my granddaughter today. it took 10 minutes to order. only 1 waitress to clean tables, take them their order, tend to cash, etc. I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate. what I got was fried chicken stripes with Teriyaki sauce drizzled. eating was hardly warm to boot. let them know the waitress of my disappointment. no tip!

We ate here last night and had food left over so the waitress packed the leftovers to go. When we arrived at our home, my daughter wanted to eat our leftovers since she had barely arrived as well from work. When she opened the box she immediately saw a roach in the white rice. My wife ran straight to the restroom and barf. I called them today and the same waitress told me there is nothing she is gona do when she completely said the opposite last night. She report them to the health department so that is what I am going to do.

I've been eating from here for a year or two pretty often. I usually go through the drive thru and very seldom eat inside. I've noticed they are very short on the phone but chalked it up to their culture. Well this time I decided to eat inside and they were downright rude! Ignored me asking for a lemon twice then on the third time the lady says to me I will bring you a lemon later Yep, never going back. If customer service isn't your thing, don't work in customer service.

Idk what it is about this place but it makes my heart happy lol. The food is good and it's a good portion for the price. There's a lot if elderly people here and idk if it was because I'm young but she wasn't half as nice to me as everybody else ? I'm not that bothered by it tho.

Wanted to try some place new, thought I'd give this place a shot. They gave us general tso instead of orange chicken. I would have let that go but the list keeps going. Easily the most bland lo-mein I have ever had, the fried rice was also bland, but dry and old as well. The General Tso was okay at best but definitely not what I wanted. The only thing that was decent was the Wonton soup. Called and complained but they hung up after we refused to merely exchange the chicken out. Completely wasted my money and will never go here again. If anyone wants good Chinese food I recommend Chuan Chinese restaurant it's very close to this place and please, stay far away from this place. You are better off throwing your money.
