Bismillah Cafe - Spring

What an amazing experience our first night in Houston turned out to be due to this restaurant. Firstly, it is huge and the selections on the menu can tell a whole lot about authenticity. I spoke to the owner and he explained the recipes are from Pakistan and they are as wonderful as you remember them. If they are not let me know so I can make sure of it. Well that was that! We as a family started with appetizers and samosa chat was nothing less than extraordinary. The bun kabab was exactly like Sadar in Karachi! Or Bahadrabad (your preference). And lastly the chicken karahi was mouth watering. We ordered spicy so please make sure you tell them how spicy you want the food. We also ordered boneless Tikka and offcourse a pizza for the kid! All in all great experience and wonderful food! The service was absolutely wonderful along with chai!

Hey fellows ?So here is the deal, went to the “Bismillah Restaurant Cafe” as some people recommend, even google review was the top of that.I was starving and wanted to try something good like chicken burger or something els. So I had ordered something recommended by the front desk gentleman “ ten Chicken Burger”.I must say after all my hunger for food at that time and recommendations… honestly speaking it was terrible in test for person like me.Reasons: I’m not after spicy or hot food which kills the whole idea of flavors and just make it burn your mouth with extra sodium….. ?I ordered with sides “ garlic fries” which was ok but again with lots of spiciest on the top.So I was asking my self where is the test ? ?Well! 16$ for soda fries and burger it’s not cheap or reasonable price. But yes for the meal size was more then enough for 2 people.Recommendation: So if you’re one of those who don’t care about the test and like just spicy food/fast food with extra salt,,, So do try. ??You will like it. ?On the other hand if you’re like me who is after test and flavors with no extra hot or spicy/salted food. Their is no way you should even try.I’love spicy food don’t get me ?wrong but with flavors. Like good Thai wraps, Mexican food. Etc etc ….Also front desk staf was very humble and restaurants seating space was clean and Spacious enough for families or friends. ??So let’s see will try something else next time but for a while I don’t think so. It took me little time to recover my feelings. ???Thanks

The price is outrageous, and the waiting time is really long! Their charges are way too high! You can get 2 chick fil a sandwiches for a price of 1 bun kebab. Food tasted good.

This is a gem. If you want to try authentic food from Pakistan this is the place ! The food is off the hook and it really represents Pakistani cuisine. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Prices are average and the bathroom was clean ! Service is a bit hands off, but it’s not bad service. Highly recommend the Rahj Kachorea. The street food like anda wala burger is also really good. Please keep the restaurant like this and keep representing Pakistan in a good manner like this !

The serving size was perfect enough to share between two people. The flavors and spice were amazing as well. The main dish does not come with bread or rice so you have to order it on the side but it’s not expensive. The staff was helpful in deciding what to order! We cannot wait to go back!
