L'angolo Antico - SPOLETO

We have stayed in Spoleto five times and this fall for six weeks. During that time we ate at L'Angelo at least twelve times. The food is always excellent and the family which owns and operates the restaurant are the nicest people you will meet in Italy. The Strangozzi al Tartufo is my absolute favorite with the Strangozzi al Porcini running a close second. My wife prefers the Cinghiale Casserole which is basically a plate of wild boar that is so tender it will melt in your mouth. We will be returning to Italy again next year and will be eating here very frequently.

My family and I had a lovely mid day lunch here. 2 adults and 3 children. We found the food amazing and the lovely owners were so patient with us as we don't speak Italian! We had several items on the menu and all were lovely! They don't do pizza for lunch but the kids were not disappointed as the pasta was delicious. They were open in the middle of the day on a Saturday with only a couple tables booked so it was quiet and cool inside. The staff were delightful and the food as well. Highly recommend. And we have booked to go back again soon!

As I mentioned in a previous review, we always get pizza from here our first night in Spoleto and did again this trip. Still the best cooked crust in Italy. Not soggy in the middle but crisp all the way across. Since we were staying in an apartment right across the street, we decided to have dinner here one night. It was delicious! So good that we ate here on our last night in Spoleto as well. The owners are very friendly and remembered us from our previous visit. We had a variety of pastas and veal and everything was excellent. The interior is cozy and pleasant and the service efficient without being rushed. Very enjoyable meals.

Particolarmente bello locale ben curato dalla signora con tutti i suoi bei pezzi d'antiquariato musicale andiamo al così ... buono l'antipasto! il primo dettaglio è l'oca con quei porcini è la salsiccia!!! i prezzi un po' medio alto

Luogo fiabesco, cucina tipica, servizio impeccabile, cordialità e cordialità dei proprietari e camerieri, un angolo riservato dove gustare i piaceri del tavolo
