Canaan Buffet - Spokane

I grew up in this Buffet and went here many times. The food is always good and I love the new market. However, the price has increased greatly and now in comparison to fast food places that can fill you up in one meal, 27 dollars for dinner doesn't seem that good of a deal anymore... The sushi has always been a bit bland and the dessert bar is as lackluster as any other place, esp after they changed the ice cream. Overall it's still a place everyone should experience once or twice with good food and a warm atmosphere.

Good selection of stuff staff is really nice reminds me of hongkong when I visited they also have a cool Asian style market inside!

So many choices of foods, salad bar and dessert options. Not the best but not the worst. They have Asian market inside the restaurant area.

Buffet, some food could have been hotter. Big variety we were there early dinner so no waiting on anything. Good tasty lots of variety.

August 2024 I had one negative issue with this place: it was really hot inside the building. I am guessing the AC was broke because it was hotter inside than outside. I would think they could have invested in some small fans to create airflow. As for the food, there was a large variety of options. The staff member we interacted with was kind and friendly. Vegetarian options: I am judging based on the buffet options. I did not ask about a menu.
