Bidrage med feedbackBad presentation of Ben and Jerry. Had a banana column ordered and when the staff handed it over to us, she said they had no fruit hoses. About $9.00 for a banana split, the minimum ice cream and is usually whipped cream and banana. Our family stayed after having spent a nice day at Riverfront Park on Mother's Day. Not what we expected, very disappointed. We are not responsible for the staff, they work extremely hard and do their best.
Was the only customer so no waiting... At $6.50 for a one scoop cup I won 't be back. Reviewing some past customers comments... I am reminded of an old saying... One satisfied customer tells a few friends... One unsatisfied customer tells EVERYONE.
The scoop the server put on my 5 year old?s cone wasn?t even packed down into the cone, not one little bit. I noticed it as she went to take her first lick, ice cream falls off, luckily I catch it though. I?m standing in front of the server, holding the scoop of ice cream in my hand that she just put on, she doesn?t apologize, she doesn?t offer a new scoop, she says ?I can get you a bowl if she can?t eat off the cone?. I don?t know if you remember being 5, but it?s ice cream, not rocket science. My 5 year old is perfectly capable of eating ice cream from a cone, and could probably scoop it better than the lady who is paid to do so. Pathetic customer service, especially for the $6 I spent per single scoop of ice cream on a kids waffle cone. Will not return, ice cream is sub par and the staff tip the scales into full blown ?don?t deserve my money? territory.
Love Ben and Jerry?s Ice Cream! Their Coconut Seven Layer is PURE Heaven.
*Edit* I am changing my overall review of the location because even though the issue with the cake was valid, it was addressed so quickly and professionally by the owner. I can tell that you take pride in your work and ownership in what happens in your store. Thank you for taking this as a training opportunity, that gives me faith that either this was a one off situation, or that a procedure will be put in place to keep it from happening again. Thank you! A couple of weeks ago I picked up an ice cream cake for a coworker's birthday. I had a dinner tonight and was in charge of bringing dessert so I went back for another cake. I could help but notice the same exact cakes from weeks prior were still in the case being sold. I asked the two girls working what the shelf life of these were or if they were rotated out at all.. their answer was no, they stay in the case until sold which could be a very long time. I'm not a dramatic person, but this cake was disgusting. I took a picture of the collection of dust on the top layer of frosting. We tried to scrape off the frosting and get to the ice cream inside of the cake but that was crumbled and dried out too. I would love to share the photos I took so that someone can see the impact that leaving cakes in the case forever has. Please let me know if you are interested in seeing for yourself. The girls on shift are always great and personable, and the fresh products you offer are great, but please consider updating your process to keep the cakes fresh, safe and CLEAN.
