Barakokula - Split

3 diners and 3 dishes. We had great service from Antonio. We ordered the tomato soup as a starter. Beautiful presentation and delicious flavor. We had the sexy tofu, yin Yang sweet potato and the veggie burger. The tofu won but the sweet potato was a close second. The burger was good but I highly recommend the tofu and the tomato soup as top choices. Enjoy!!

Tried the sexy tofu and caesar salad, both really delicious. However a tad pricey and service was a bit slow.

Wow the sexy tofu is so good. I was afraid it would not be filling but it’s a good portion with veggies. Very tasty. A bit pricey and the location is a bit hidden. Lovely staff.

Really great plant based menu with 3 courses available. We were in a hurry so only had a main course. Really tasty and enjoyed the food a lot ! The staff were also really lovely and looked after us well with efficiency.

It feels like a scam. I think the owner or chef must have changed recently. Otherwise the good reviews it had in the past don’t make sense. The food wasn’t fresh and the ingredients that were advertised weren’t in the food. For example the “oyster mushroom” tempura tasted like a store-bought mayonnaise, there is no way there was any mushroom inside. The food had no taste not even of pepper and salt. It never happened to me before that the ingredients listed on the menu seem like a blatant lie! The tempeh tasted like unwashed [censored] and I love tempeh normally. For the love of god, please don’t fall for this scam like I did. Beware! Please don’t go here!
