Sunrise Diner - Speculator

We settled at a table and were promptly served warm coffee along with the menu. My wife ordered a white spinach omelet, and let me tell you, it was unbelievably good! I went for my all-time favorite: biscuits and gravy. They were simply delicious—freshly made, light, and fluffy, with a rich, creamy gravy that was delightful on the palate. If you find yourself in the Moffat Beach area, this place is definitely worth a visit!

This was likely the best breakfast we've had in years across several states. The fried potatoes were incredible, the pancakes were delicious, the bacon was cooked to perfection, and my husband’s omelet was made with fresh ingredients and was absolutely tasty. The coffee was good as well! The service was attentive, even though we opted to sit in their outdoor area. The restaurant was very busy and crowded inside, so the outdoor dining option was perfect for us. We appreciated the more spacious setting in this post-COVID era. I wish we had taken some photos to capture the quality of the food — or maybe we did...

It's a cozy little spot that used to offer a wide variety of outdoor dining options. The food is quite good, but the interiors are a bit cramped. I found myself sitting near the bathroom door and had to make some adjustments to let people pass by.

Big little diner in downtown Speculator. The food is excellent, especially omelets. I recommend this diner.

Great breakfast menu with all the classics, even biscuits and gravy! Prices are fair. Decaf coffee was disgusting (old and burnt? but hubby was fine with the regular coffee. Home fries come without onions unless you request them, and they were nice and crispy on the outside. Pancakes were good but not spectacular. Overall a great small town diner.
