Wade's - Spartanburg

I tried here for the first time yesterday and I've lived in SC 24 years. We got our food to go. I had the chicken pot pie, broccoli with cheese and the most amazing sweet potato souffle. For dessert the homemade peanut butter pie, which​ to die for. Thanks again for the amazing lunch!!

Another Spartanburg institution. Best place for meat and three in these parts. This place holds a special place in my heart because of the fact that during the last two weeks of his life (he died of cancer in 1996) my father wouldn't eat hospital food but he would always want a vegetable plate and a yeast roll from Wade's. I like to think that he left this world a happy man because of that.

Wades is the only place that EVERYONE in our family loves to go and dine together! It makes all generations happy.

Wade’s has been a family favorite for years. Now that my boys are in college, it is an absolute MUST that they visit Wade’s when they come home. Yesterday we drove straight from the airport to Wade’s. Service is always great. The staff is friendly. The food is just good southern home-cooking!

Had the privilege of dining at Wade's recently, while visiting friends, in Spartanburg. I absolutely loved it. Had the southern fried pork tenderloin and it was fantastic. The mac and cheese rocked!! Can't wait to go back.
