Super hole in the wall place but with a very authentic Mexican vibe! They literally have a faux rooster inside on a little roof. You can pick out your own complimentary salsa out of 6—8 house made salsas with accompanying chips. They have an extensive menu with a couple different cuisines besides Mexican. We tried a variety of Mexican entrees and appetizers… Including chips and several styles of salsa, guacamole, beef and chicken tamales, an all meat steak burrito (carne asada), an all meat chicken (Pollo) burrito… Everything was absolutely great! Comfortable ambience, clean and spacious for social distancing. Friendly staff and very good service. Overall… Impressive restaurant!

Great food great people there is no better food in Spartanburg SC than Papas and Beer!

The restaurant was extremely busy, but the wait staff went above and beyond to keep up. The kitchen staff must be great as well. The food was delicious and arrived at our table in less than 5 minutes. It was truly amazing. Some of the staff were even running to bus tables and deliver orders to the kitchen.
