Olive Garden Italian - Spartanburg

The one in spartanburg is amazing.. The service and the food ???

Everything we ordered take out was correct and nice and hot. Gentleman who brought the food to the car was very friendly!

Went on Tuesday at 5,waited 35mins,no big deal,but was greeted by an angry hostess with the worst attitude. Finally got seated, sat for 20mins no drinks,no nothing,servers passed us,people sat after us started to receive service. Finally stopped a server to ask where was our server,15 additional minutes later,manager comes and said our server was busy and would be with us Shortly, left 10mins later,still with no drinks,no service. Never will return.and the place smelled and the table was sticky.

Everything was great, except I noticed the breadsticks were not as good as I remember them being. And it's sad that prices everywhere are going to make home cooked meals that much more common.

Our party was a total of 10; 4 adults and 6 children. It was two of the kid 's birthdays. As we arrived to the parking lot, I called to ask if there was much of a wait for a party of 10. The person I spoke with told me that for parties of 7 or more, we just have to come in and get our name on the list. I explained that we had a total of 6 kids, some in car seats, and before we get them all out of the two vehicles, could she please give me an estimate on how long we 'd have to wait before being seated. She asked me to hold, and came back moments later to tell me that it 's against company policy to give out estimates to parties over 7 and we 'd have to come in and wait. I explained that they had just lost our business because they wouldn 't help me with a simple estimate of time. We went next door to Long Horn and spent $270.00. Olive Garden 's unwillingness to be flexible to a large party with many children cost them. This could be part of the reason why that Olive Gardens are failing across the country. This restaurant proved that they aren 't customer centric and don 't care about families doing business with their restaurants.
