3.14.2024 Update with regards to the store owner's reply: I am a healthy and happy person. Your comment is passive aggressive. It was not a mix-up. The protein powder is the actual name of the smoothie that I ordered. Do not concern yourself with my healthy diet. I have every right to choose what I put into my body. I simply wanted what I ordered. If your store did use the ingredients, I should have been told. There were four containers of Vanilla Lean 1 sitting on your shelf. I will contact the corporate office to handle this matter. You are in need of more training. I need protein to maintain muscle. I prefer delicious protein powders, not the cheaper chalky tasting ones.3.9.2024 Store was clean. Employees were polite. Drive thru was busy. The young lady took my order for a Lean 1 smoothie. Unfortunately, the young man who returned from outside blended the wrong protein powder in my smoothie. It was well blended. I can always taste the difference when the wrong protein powder is used. Employees need to be aware that customers pay a lot of money for those smoothies. I follow a strict diet. Any anomaly compromises my protein intake. Maybe he should try a couple smoothies with each powder so he can taste the difference? In his spare time, he can recalculate my diet intake numbers.Dietary restrictions: Do not assume your order will be correct. Discuss it with the employees to make sure they do not substitute without your approval.
Unfortunately, THIS smoothie king has to disappoint me at least 3x in a month. I come here VERY often. I made it up there one morning around seven. Granite they may have just opened, but instead of the two young ladies in the store, asking me to give them a second or explaining to me what’s going on. They BOTH ignore me at BOTH the drive-through line while knocking on the door. So I kept knocking, and one young lady turned to me mouthed we’re closed. But how are you closed at seven in the morning that’s when you open. So she finally comes to the door and says we’re having Computer problems. Why didn’t she just communicate that with me from the start?This smoothie king has a hard time remembering to give you foam cups when asked. They have a hard time with opening at their appropriate time. And they have a very hard time getting your order correct. Also, they never answer the phone. Just wait for a callback.
UPDATE: Service has been overall friendlier, although still a little slow, and I know they are slightly more expensive than tropical smoothie cafe, but the smoothie are just better. My family really likes the Peanut Power Plus (chocolate or strawberry) and the Lemon Twists.Hit or miss, the staff bounces between being super friendly some days and absolutely horrendous the next and they take forever.
Decided to try this place instead of tropical cafe… big regret… sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes for a subpar smoothie and customer service
