Mohawk House - Sparta

A few weeks ago, we held our wedding at this restaurant and we cannot praise the experience enough. Rachael, the owner, was delightful and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The staff was very attentive and genuinely dedicated to making our day truly special. The atmosphere, food, and service were all outstanding. We want to express our thanks to everyone at the Mohawk House for providing us with an absolutely perfect and memorable experience!

Having lived in Sparta for most of my life, I have witnessed this restaurant at both its peak and its lowest points. The beer selection is consistently top-notch in North Jersey, but I have found the food to be hit or miss. Despite this, I have made some unforgettable memories here, which I have factored into my review.

The setting is lovely and the atmosphere is beautiful, but be prepared to pay a high price for the fancy presentation. I didn't mind splurging for my son's birthday, but everyone ended up hungry. The food was delicious, but the portions were small, so make sure to eat beforehand.

My event last night was spectacular thanks to the amazing job from Rob and Tina! They were so kind and went above and beyond to make us happy . There calmness and professional ways made us so happy! I felt like they were a part of my family! The beauty and elegance made us feel like we were at a different place in time. Much love , and I will be hosting many other affairs in the future here. I was brought here for my bachelorette dinner party, food was amazing! The peach sangria was delicious, the service was prompt, my best friend didn't even notice when they refilled out glasses with water, that's how efficient they were. The only thing is I wish they would have ask about certain plates to be removed from the table. Other than that we were all very pleased with our meal selection
