Bidrage med feedbackGood simple food with good taste. Very friendly staff and place for cheap, but good food!
Polite attitude, good quality coffee, friendly atmosphere. My choice for a coffee recharge in the magnificent village of Kardamyli.
The best burger I've had in long time, my wife had the chicken schnitzel and it was equally good, going for breakfast there shortly!!
We came through in November, and they were the only place that was open. We needed a place to stay, and they had rooms available. In the evening we ate in the restaurant and it was amazing. Easily one of the best meals we had while we were in Greece. The salad was so fresh!
The best of Greece so far. I stayed a couple nights in Kardamyli and ate here a couple breakfasts and one supper. The breakfast was excellent and extremely reasonable in price both times. The supper? Wow, honestly did not expect to find this level of food... I had an order of meatballs in tomato sauce to start. I am thinking I will get some decent meatballs in ragu. Nope, these were better. The sauce was certainly tomato based but the flavours they worked into the sauce went far beyond. There was some onion, spices for sure, not sure what to be honest but it was phenomenal. The meatballs were flavored just right to act as the perfect device to mop up the sauce. The main I chose was what was decribed to me as a Greek rissoto with shrimp. It was definately like a rissoto, but the grain was smaller then rissoto rice, it had a very nice texture, cooked absolutely perfect. The base of this dish was rich, multiple flavors hitting at different times like a fine wine. Lemon, truffle oil, wow. The shrimp were beatifully placed on top to finish the presentation and they were fresh, firm and grilled perfectly. This is a dish I could get in a Michelin star restaurant and say yep, that makes sense . The only difference is the Michelin restaraunt will give you 1/5th the amount of rissoto, 1 shrimp on top, and charge you twice as much. Phenomenal, this will likely be the restaraunt I look back on the most fondly from all my time in Greece.
