Krispy Kreme - Sparks

It'd been a while since I'd had a Krispy Kreme and decided to swing through the drive thru today. Apparently, I should've read some reviews. Got 2 doughnuts that appear to have sat for a week with one looking like it spent some time as a hockey puck. Could barely hear the staff on the speaker, I paid in cash, but no receipt was given. No napkins were given. This place may be closer to my house than other doughnut chains but still won't get my service. Both doughnuts are hard as rocks and not worth a dental bill. Talk about paid for disappointment.

I am going to start this review with a quick preface. I grew up in North Carolina where Krispy Kreme actually started. The donuts were phenomenal and we were always excited when we got home from school and my mom had brought a dozen assorted from the Krispy Kreme shop. Fast forward 30 years and what the hell has happened? I bought a dozen assorted and everyone one of the cream filled donuts, 3 in total, had little to no cream in them at all. 1 of them literally had zero cream. The other 2 barely had any at all, bordering on none. What has happened to quality control? You charge $17.99 for 12 donuts and you can't even put a halfway decent amount of cream in the donuts? If I wanted just dough with chocolate then I would buy chocolate glazed or just glazed. This is sad to say the least and yeah the last time I will ever purchase donuts from Krispy Kreme. Damn near $20 bucks and this is your product? You should be ashamed and I am willing to bet this is a common place occurrence. Never again Krispy Kreme.

Stopped in for the first time ever with my daughter . I ordered a coffee which was watery! The counter had sugar and a sugar substitute and ONE flavor of the little cream/milk cups! My daughter is lactose intolerant and though the sign said oatmilk when my daughter asked the little older lady she replied in a snotty tone do you see that anywhere? to which my daughter pointed to the sign... oh ! Yeah, nice attitude! Every donut place should serve good coffee with plenty of options! Although the chocolate glazed cream filled donut was excellent. ?coffee. ? donutsI tipped her regardless...
