Rico Mexican - Spanish Fort

Food was great and so was the service. Emma was super friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We were in and out in I dwr and hour. Great job guys!!!!

This has to be the whitest Mexican restaurant I have ever ate at , service was amazing but the food had to come straight out of a can ,I mean everything from the sauce to the beans and rice , I am from southern CaliforniaI know and love Mexican food,this wasn't itI honestly don't believe I've ever had such flavorless beans and rice beforeSpice it up people,geesh

I met a friend here for lunch today, and this visit was the first one for me. I knew it used to be Poor Mexican but has received a whole new revamp to be Rico Mexican now.When I was seated for two, the size of the salsa dish was disappointing. Anyone that loves Mexican food tends to throw down on the salsa and chips long before their entree. I had to ask for a second salsa dish for my friend because I 'd almost finished off the first one before she got there!Browsing the menu it seemed like the prices were relatively high. As mentioned before, I love Mexican food. I 'll go out of my way for a good Mexican food restaurant. On average, though, I expect to spend around $12 $15 for an average to large burrito (mucho grande, anyone? . This restaurant was offering a LUNCH menu burrito for $14. Everything seemed to be priced higher than other Mexican restaurants ' menus. Alas, I ordered the burrito to give them a shot, hoping and praying it was going to be worth it.Friend ordered a chicken cheese quesadilla with a small order of cheese dip. My burrito was on the small side, which one kind of expects from a lunch menu order, but again it was disappointing considering it cost $14. Friend knew what to expect with her order, but she ordered from the appetizer menu to keep costs low for herself.I will say our server was really nice and busting her behind. I swear I saw only two people on the floor of that entire restaurant, one of them being her. I thought the flavor was good, but the portion of chicken inside the burrito and the size of the burrito left a lot to be desired for that price. I may return if my options are limited, but I think Cozumel in Loxley is serving up bigger items for the same cost or less.

We finally found our Mexican place!! Great service, great food and reasonably priced.

I went in to pickup a carryout order, a guy came to the counter on the phone taking an order and never acknowledged my presence. A white couple came in an a Hispanic guy sitting in the lobby greeted them and sat them at a table nearby. The guy got off the phone and I mentioned I think that is my carryout order . He said I 'll be with you in a moment and went to wait on the white couple. After standing there (before the couple who came in long after me) for about 20 minutes total, I walked out leaving my $36 order. Maybe service is good depending on what color you are ?
