Falafel - Southwark

I 've been a loyal customer of 'Falafel and Shawarma ' for three years, but my recent experiences have been nothing short of infuriating. The first incident involved finding hair in my chilli, followed by receiving garlic instead of chilli on another occasion. Today, despite leaving a clear note requesting chilli sauce, I received two pots of garlic sauce, and my potatoes were burnt to a crisp. What 's more infuriating is that the driver, who barely speaks English, brazenly stole from me. He claimed he would change the garlic to chilli and bring it back but never showed up. This isn 't just a disappointing service; it 's criminal behavior. I 've been blatantly stolen from, and this driver 's actions are unacceptable. I want to make it clear that I will be reporting this theft to the relevant authorities. Furthermore, I will be posting this review on TripAdvisor to ensure that others are aware of the dishonesty and poor service I 've experienced. I demand that 'Falafel and Shawarma ' take immediate action to make amends. They should either refund me personally via bank transfer for the inconvenience caused by the last two orders or provide a full refund for those orders. It 's disheartening to see a restaurant I once trusted take such a steep decline in quality, especially during a time when people are facing financial challenges. 'Falafel and Shawarma ' needs to step up its game and prioritize customer satisfaction. This driver 's actions are not just disappointing; they are criminal, and they must be addressed urgently.

I would die for this wonderful, affordable, friendly Camberwell institution. If one day the death penalty is – for whatever reason – reinstated, and I am (wrongly) accused of a crime for which shuffling off this mortal coil is my unfortunate penalty, when asked for my last meal I will whisper this: I didn 't do it. But bring me a falafel wrap with aubergine from Falafel Shawarma, Camberwell. I can 't believe they 're accusing me of this; I didn 't do it. And a carrot and ginger juice please .

Nice food and affordable but unfortunately one of the staff members (older small man with glasses) here is unnecessarily rude very regularly and our experience is spoiled all the time. Always gets our order wrong and kicks off for no reason. Have put up with it as the food is good but will probably avoid from now on. Luckily Camberwell SE London have an abundance of great restaurants you can visit instead without the added aggro. Massive shame as all the other staff are wonderful.

The wraps here are incredibly tasty, as are the sambusa, and amazingly good value one falafel wrap and 4 sambusa came to just £5! But what really sets this place apart is the level of service. There's always a large queue but don't let that put you off as the service is highly efficient and you'll be served in no time. And yet in spite of being very busy the staff still have time to look after each customer. No complaints. I love the place and go at least once a week.

Food here is great especially the vegetarian mezze. I have been a regular. But whilst staff were wearing masks they weren’t wearing them over their nose (just mouth). Masks worn like this are not effective. Will not return until this is resolved. NOT COVID-19 SAFE.
