Ask London Spice Quay - Southwark

3 course set menu. Good choice fof each course. but very noisy and slow service. Food was good when it arrived. Reasonable price but spoilt by noisy uncontrolled children screaming and shouting.

Me and my wife went for a meal, we booked the table for 9.15, we got there on time and on arrival we were told kitchen is closing in 5 minutes even though there were later slots available online. Rushed to order, penne arraibiata had no salt and customer service was appalling. Only good this is the dessert hence the 1 star. Save your money, eat in or go elsewhere.

Have been using this restaurant for many years and have always found it excellent. In the last couple of years though, there has been an employee, who I suspect maybe a manager has spoiled it. On the tables are small glasses, which if anybody else is there, are filled with Lemonade. If this indiviual is on, they are taken away without being filled!! This visit was in December..obviously not full of Xmas spirit!! Furthermore the Xmas menu wasn't offered to anybody whilst we were there, unless they asked for it. Usually this is presented with the full menu. Obviously only concerned with making maximum profit. Food is still good, but I just hope he isn't around next time I go!!

This was my first try at Ask Italian and I was not disappointed,friendly and relaxed atmosphere. In our group was 1 meat eater 3 vegetarian and 1 vegan yet it was so easy to order from the menu having a lot of choice. The service was perfect the food was absolutely gorgeous I highly recommend this particular restaurant even if you have such a mixture of dietry requirements,definitely dine here

We went for a meal and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Very prompt service and lovely pizza, cracking views of the Thames.
