Kingfisher Fish Chips Shop - Southsea

About 9 o'clock when my partner came from the work to home fish and chips were super! portion sizes whore big as we fought our way through a medium. it tasted all very fresh and they had no problem to put an inordinated amount of edgy on my! the staff was very friendly and we will definitely be back!

Expensive compared to chip shops at home .fish was a little thin and also not huge on flavour but it seemed very fresh and good quality.It was cooked fresh while I waited and I was not disappointed with it at all .The fryer was polite and told me how long it would take to cook ,helpful as parking in this area is not plentiful . Overall I would absolutely recommend fish and chips from here .

Tonight I really fancied fish chips and a pea fritter, went to kingfisher, staff lovely, order swift, bill £13.00. no problems large cod is not cheap. Waited about 20 minutes for order, again no probs freshly cooked. Chips great, pea fritter to die for, but the main ingredient, large cod, was awful, dry and tasteless. So 3 stars for the lovely staff, nice chips and awesome pea fritter, but no stars for the fish,, awful
