Bidrage med feedbackWe are from Tasmania and enjoyed Hanazono so much that this was our second visit! The service is very good, the delicious food is prepared with flair and fun. It's like dinner and a show all rolled into one.
Our chef was amazing. Not only did he cook our meal perfectly (we couldn't find a single fault), but he was also charming, entertaining, and funny, making our evening even more enjoyable. As my husband has celiac disease and follows a strict gluten-free diet, the chef made sure to accommodate by using gluten-free soy sauce in our meal preparation and informing us that the sauces were not gluten-free. We give top marks to Hanazono Teppanyaki and will definitely be returning with our friends on a regular basis!
This is dinning with entertainment plus. The food presentation and skill of the chef is amazing. You feast with your eyes and then you feast on some amazing food. We had the volcano menu so we got flames and I think it also helped with the flavour. The fried rice is Morrish but for the amount of food you will be full. The service was excellent and friendly staff. Recommend you experience this at least once this year.
For first time teppanyaki goers this place was awesome. We checked out a couple of others but hanazono had the best reputation and certainly lived up to it. We will be back.
We had booked one night in a hotel across the road, and I used trip advisor to find the nearest Restaraunt. Couple of points, if you like a beer or wine bring your own they don't have a licence, there is a bottle shop 30 yards away so easy to pick up if required. When we arrived it was a little hectic, we where waiting around 5 minutes and no one even acknowledged us, eventually I spoke to a member of staff and told them we had a reservation. We were seated in a waiting area with the menus, this is when I noticed that there was no wines on the menu, I asked a member of staff just in case there was a separate menu for wine, this is when I found out that there was no wines, and he recommended the bottle shop nearby. I purchased a bottle of wine and made my way back to the Restaraunt, where I found my wife had been seated on a large table, however the plates and glasses from the previous meal had not been cleared away, I would say for at least 10 minutes. In the meantime our orders where taken for us and another two gentleman sitting next to us. Eventually they moved us to a clean table telling us all there was a problem with the stove! Hmm our chef arrived and was very pleasant, we ordered Moreton bay bugs and fillet steak, the food and chefs skills were good, I would say the food was 9/10 the score being higher due to the delicious Moreton bay bugs which where excellent. The food service was quite rushed and not as relaxed as I would have liked. The finale was when the waitress came over and said they were closed now and could we leave, rushed is not the word. I recommend going early, bring your own wine, and if you do go after 8.30 expected to be rushed out.
