Asian Taste - Southport

I ordered the General Tso's chicken combo plate, which came with a generous portion of food for just $10.50. It also included an egg roll. The restaurant was clean, and my food was ready right away. I have no complaints!

If you’re gonna try for Chinese food in Southport, this is the one.

That's pretty legit. They make a different style of Chinese than usual, but its delicious. Will definitely return. Fried Scallops were good, interesting but good. I got the Teriyaki chicken and chicken fried rice and it was delicious and an egg roll and fried scallops. Scallops were good, buttery and fresh tasting. The Teriyaki is different than I used to, it was boned thighs perhaps on spits and the Teriyaki sauce was not traditionally perhaps hunan style. Delicious, no less. I'm back. Oh and if you ask yourself nice, they have great homemade sharp mustard sauce and their sweet n sour is also delicious. Skip the pectin and whatever in the packets and ask for a house made mustard. If you tho, just type extra or offer to pay for it. Most likely they will join it.

The dumplings were decent, but not exceptional. The shrimp was delicious. However, the hot and sour soup lacked the expected sharpness.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to in Southport. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.
