Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Southfield

I use to frequent this tropical smoothie location but back in February 2024I had a bad experience that was off putting and I would likely avoid this location and just go to the one a little further away on Southfield rd. 7 order a Bahama Mama through Drive Thru and paid at the Window and they told me to pull forward and someone will bring it out . Well no one ever did and I waited more than 15 mins while other cars behind me got their orders . I ended uo going inside with my receipt after realize they probably forgot about me or gave my order to somebody else. I walked inside and was ignore for about 5 mins despite it being busy but adequately staffed. I finally got someone’s attention, showed them my receipt and explained how I never got my smoothie through drive through and they made it for me. This whole experience was annoying and made me not want to come here again

Staff ignores you when you walk in. Store was dirty. Restroom was filthy. No forks or napkins available. I waited 15 mins for a smoothie. When I asked about it they said the set it on the counter, but never announced it.

The smoothies are decent but they are really costly $8 is a bit much even for all natural. They may want to come down a little on their prices.

Jalen has amazing service! Every morning that he works, my day starts off right; with this type of consistency, his future is bright!!!
