Mr Ping - Southend-on-Sea

Food and service used to be ok and Ive used them as my local takeout for years. Their prices over the last couple of years have skyrocketed beyond the many other local Chinese takeaways in Southchurch but I have continued to use them. However, this evenings food was completely inedible (and salty beyond recognition). I called and asked them to send out a replacement dish. They refused and instead offered me 50% off the same dish when I next placed an order. I felt this was completely unacceptable as they left me without a replacement or a refund. I will not be using them again.

My son and his girlfriend went there had two tiny dishes each two dishes which weren’t very nice £70 as they got charged £5 for not eating it all even though it wasn’t nice !!!

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I placed an order for over £30 and was told it would be ready for collection in 30-40 minutes. However, after only 7 minutes, I received a call from a rude employee demanding to know where I was, as my order had been sitting there waiting. Upon bringing the order home, I found that the satay chicken had no sauce, the chips were undercooked, and the chicken balls were soggy from sweating in the bag. The mini crispy pancakes also had wet batter. When I called to complain, I was told to bring the food back to have it cooked longer, but I refused and requested a refund instead. After discovering that the satay chicken was raw and pink inside, I returned the entire order without receiving an apology. It was clear that the food had been rushed and was not cooked properly, which is concerning for safety reasons. I will not be returning to this restaurant again, as this was not the first time I had a bad experience there.

Went to mr pings for my sister’s birthday wasn’t disappointed.you order from a menu and they bring the food out fresh food was very good and service was good there was 11 of us and the waitresses and waiter didn’t stop all night can’t fault it well done mr ping
