Pure South - Southbank

We previously ate in the Pure South Restaurant, but that was our first experience in Pure South Kitchen. We were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. We'll be back with more friends next time.

Unfortunately, meals are very small and overpriced. Calamari overcooks and fish swim in butter. Tables that are so tightly scratched could hear the conversation from 2 and 3 tables away.

The food was delicious and the staff was very welcoming. the portion size of the lamb as sufficient but not amazing and my lamb was very fat, which does not help with the joy. very disappointed by the size of the oysters; $5 for a fingertip bite was expensive! in retrospect, we should have tried the feed me menu that might have represented a better value!

The food here is absolutely fantastic and the staff is also great. I was for breakfast a few times, but never dinner. Definitely return

We had a nice casual grazing lunch which they accommodating without fuss, great Tasmania produce with easy going good service.
