I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was impressed by the upscale evening atmosphere. The staff and the locals at the bar were friendly. I had a delicious lemon drop cosmopolitan, while my husband enjoyed a well-made old fashioned.

We had an incredible dining experience at Mesquite Chop House! Our group of 13 enjoyed delicious food that was expertly prepared. Our server, Bailey, was fantastic and made our meal even more enjoyable. The dishes literally melted in our mouths, and the cocktails were outstanding. I especially loved the rye old fashioned. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The dinner was enjoyable and the food was decent, but perhaps not worth the price. They serve bread that you have to cut yourself, which tends to create crumbs on the table due to the hard crust. The meat appetizer sampler was fantastic and the standout dish of the evening. The elk was particularly delicious. My beef steak was not very impressive (I actually preferred the elk preparation), but the fries were tasty (although very salty). My friends also found their dishes to be overly salty. The dessert was decent, but nothing special.
