Wagamama West Quay Centre - Southampton

I get the food comes as it's cooked but if you sit with a kid and your meal arrives a good 15 minutes before his and he is having noodles that's not quirky service, it's just **** service. Second time recently this has happened at the Soton branch and it's going to stop us coming, we are also pretty sure the ingredient count has dropped and the food is not as good as it used to be, shame as we were devotees and bought the book and everything but feel you've become a bit rubbish lately, apparently I am almost alone in this view though!

Going to a Wagamama restaurant is always a reliable choice for us before we travel. We stopped at this particular Wagamama before setting sail from Southampton and it was the perfect pit stop. The service was typical of what you would expect from Wagamama - not overly friendly, but not terrible either. Our food arrived quickly, which we were happy about. The Shirodashi ramen was just as delicious as we remembered, and the pork was not overly fatty, which can sometimes be a problem.

We have been to this one in Southampton and London Covent Garden and always use the one at Gatwick you cannot fault the food it’s delicious Katsu Chicken and the duck dumplings are the best

The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. However, be prepared to eat your food as soon as it's ready, as you may end up dining alone. The tables near the windows provide lovely views. The staff is friendly, but can be overwhelmed during busy hours.
