Hong Kong House - Southampton

Despite its humble appearance, Hong Kong House is a hidden gem for delicious Chinese and English cuisine. The lovely family-run restaurant prepares its food right in front of you, offering both telephone orders and cash-only transactions. Don't let any negative comments deter you - this place is definitely worth a visit. I can't rate it high enough and wish them continued success in the future.

Ordered by phone and when I get there the price has gone up by £6. Thet denied it had changed even after I showed them the menu I'd read my order out to them on the phone. Suffice to say I would NEVER go back.

We moved into the area 25 years ago and a and out from this venue was the first meal in our house. We have continued to come to the same place all that time. The food and service is excellent. Have tried some other places but it never measures up to the quality and taste of the food from Hong Kong House.

I highly recommend this takeout restaurant. My family has been ordering food from here for several years. I suggest trying the Chili Black Bean Tofu, the Garlic Fried Rice with egg, Amoy Rice Noodles, and Pineapple Fritters.

I don’t just come here for the Chinese food I also love the good old English food they do as well like the big old hot dog it usually hits the spot
