Linnaean - South West London

We went to a lovely cafe/beauty salon with welcoming staff! We ordered the English breakfast and pancakes with chocolate sauce for brunch, both of which were delicious. The chai latte was a bit lacking in creaminess and we ended up with two different flat whites, but the staff were very accommodating when we requested modifications to our dishes. The pain au chocolate was absolutely delicious!

I can review the restaurant based on how they treat their employees. Linnaean claims to promote wellness, but in reality, they exploit vulnerable individuals by not paying them their wages. This is not just a one-time occurrence or one person's opinion.

Very disappointed with the food and service. I went for afternoon tea with a couple of friends and was pretty appalled by the experience. Staff didn 't seem to know what was on the menu when asked about certain ingredients. Many times they rudely interrupted my friends and I to clear away plates one time when my friend was half way through eating a cake, a staff member tried to take her plate. At no point did they say sorry, or excuse me. Very bizarre experience and left never wanting to go back. The food was very poor too and way over priced. I figured this is another of those 'this place looks good for the 'gram ' but actually lacks good food or service. Hot drinks were dreadful too!

First of all, the food is not great and the atmosphere is very tacky. The restaurant is full of fake flowers, washed out green colors, and appears sad with no customers besides their managers sitting on laptops. To be frank, I was not shocked to learn that they do not pay their employees or treat them with respect. Thumbs down.

Delighted by their array of mostly vegan options. I am a fan of their Posh Kebab which was quite tasty and a big serving. We went here for my friend’s Hen Do.
