Bidrage med feedbackBased in Age UK, the cafe is first floor (with a lift), and is very bright and airy. Well appointed, the staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help. The cafe is visited by all age groups but mostly over 50's. All prices are very reasonable! The food includes cold drinks, teas coffee, hot and cold sandwiches and salads, healthy snacks and nibbles, Jackets, Kym's home made cakes (Yum) and there are weekly cookery demonstrations. Friday is Stir Fry day :-D
This is a humble cafe that supports individuals with mental health challenges. Located in the basement of the library, this wonderful initiative provides affordable and basic refreshments.
This cafe may be ordinary, but its food is anything but. The menu is carefully crafted with some unique twists. The service is excellent and there is a peaceful atmosphere without any noise. It is a perfect spot to relax with a quiet cup of tea and delicious food. A visit is definitely recommended.
I recently discovered this amazing café. It has everything you could want in a dining experience. The atmosphere is bright and open, offering pleasant views of the town. The service, provided by a small team of hardworking and dedicated individuals, is efficient and friendly. During our visit, a group of us ladies tried a variety of dishes from the extensive menu. We learned that Fridays are stir-fry days, which was a hit with everyone. The stir-fry is made with fresh ingredients that you can choose and watch being prepared. We all agreed to make this café our regular meeting spot in the future. A big thank you to the staff for making our outing so enjoyable.
Took two small children for a quick lunch and it was lovely. Friendly staff, nice choice of food at very affordable prices. All the cakes and soups are home made so the staff know exactly what is in the food. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. A lot of businesses could learn a lot from this cafe about customer service. Let's hope it goes from strength to strength
