Cafe Ross - South Tyneside

My husband isn't a fan of coffee or the corporate soulless businesses that are so popular. He only drinks tea once in a blue moon but on a blustery day he fancied a cuppa and he chose Cafe Ross in Queen Street behind the main shopping street King Street. Parking is a problem as it is double yellow lines but we were on foot. Very warm welcome, music in the background, small but very clean, one mug of tea, a tea cake and a coffee for me at great prices and we went on our way. Plenty of items on the menu to try.

Julie and ian gave a warm and cold buffet on 10/6/22 for a rest. communication with julie was very helpful in the type of food we wanted, and nothing was problem, they offered an excellent and professional service and eating was delicious. we could not ask for better x

The breakfast sandwich. Sausage, ei und bohnen ordered, it was nice. very friendly woman who also delivered me before my food was delivered via an online menu problem for deliveroo, was immediately dissolved and she was very friendly and chatty when my food delivered. would recommend 100% x

Food quality and friendly service I went and ordered the great full English breakfast at a very cheap price of £5.20, which includes refills on their tee and coffee. all food freshly cooked to order and beautifully presented on plate. by far the best complete English I had in shields. will definitely go back!

Wow I am well impressed £6 for mint and dumplings including delivery, service was fast and friendly. I recommend Café-Ross if someone wants a fresh home cooked dinner. will definitely be ordered again.
