Absolutely brilliant!! For a village pub, this one is superb!! It looks very welcoming from the outside, being built of the local honey-coloured stone, and has a lovely 'feel ' inside. The quality of the food is excellent, portions are plentiful and the beer is pretty darn good too. Inside the building is sort of split into two, there 's a bar area with seating at the front and a dedicated dining area to the rear which is a little quieter, not that the bar is at all rowdy but it could be on a weekend?! We intend to be regular visitors as its well worth the 20 minute journey from where we live.

I had a beef and Merlot pie. It was amazing. Definitely the place to go for a decent pie.

Messaged them on their website several weeks ago about a reservation and nothing. Called them and left a message for a booking and nothing. Not a great way to entice new customers. Very bad service.

Nice place to eat, pub food was good and well cooked. Pretty in the evening with the lights and beer garden looks like it would be great in summer.

Took my dad for his birthday yesterday, everything was lovely, it's the second time I've eaten here and couldn't fault it at all
