Columbia - South Sarasota

It was a disappointing dinner. Service was fine, ambiance is good. The 1905 Salad is very good and made tableside. The bread is very good. The dinner was just not good. The rice and beans were OK, but the yucca, empanada, and pork slices were just so-so. The vinegary pork slice was just not to my liking. It seemed wildly overpriced at $30.00. Maybe if I were to have spent $40 or $50 on a nice fish or a steak it would have been good. In any event it seemed way overpriced. I visited Cuba about ten years ago, and the food there was not very good. Maybe just stick to a salad and soup.

Very nice restaurant with plenty of seating indoors and out. Off season is best time to go if you don't want to wait for a table. Our only issue last night was the wait time for food after we ordered. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant so it made no sense. Turned out there was a computer issue and the order did not go thru. I do feel the server should have been more attentive to the fact we were waiting so long. Once the issue was fixed we were served quickly. as always the food was very good.

This location is incredible, the service and food is fantastic. They were quick to seat us, there server was on top of everything and the food came out excellent.

Fun place, excellent authentic Spanish food. Very good service. Noisy at this location but what a location! 1905 salad is awesome, made right at your table.

Quality food and service. The grilled red snapper and the grilled grouper were delicious. The food was perfectly seasoned. And the Cuban bread will keep us coming back!
