El Zocalo - South San Francisco

I came to El Zocalo to get some pupusas. I got some chicharron queso and frijol queso. The pupusas were delicious, but a bit greasy, I really enjoyed them. The staff is very friendly, I appreciate the great customer service. When I feel like eating a pupusa, I will be back.

I spent over $100 on dinner and I tipped. They raised the price $5 a pupusa)and still jacked me on the filling. All I got was dough. Didn 't taste anything else I was lucky to find some cheese here and there.very disappointing ?This place Used to be good. We won 't be coming back here again. I didn 't even think about checking my receipt for any charges for the to go containers...

The food was great I just don't like paying for paper bags it's stupid at a restaurant for pick up. also pay 2 dollars for a pizza box for the pupusas to go. so for now on if decide to go back no more tip at all .....

Still amazing food and good service, food could have been a little warmer.

Food, service, everything is great! And parking is easy... Kid-friendliness: My son loves the pupusas.
