Yu's Garden - South Ribble

This was probably the worst takeout we have ever had from this restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken balls were extremely dry and the chips had no flavor. We decided to give it one last chance, but we will not be ordering from here again.

I live just 2 minutes away from this restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken balls were disappointing - the batter was cold, soggy, and undercooked, and the sauce was served in a coffee cup. The butterfly king prawn was tasteless and served with a cold, red sauce that lacked flavor. The place was dirty inside and in need of a good cleaning. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant and will be lodging a complaint with food hygiene authorities. The only positive is that at least our bin enjoyed the food.

The char siu pork is delicious, but the chicken and beef taste more like processed meat and not as appealing.

Very good food enjoyed it filling. Was happy with it.

Sadly, this once great restaurant has really gone downhill. We used to love this restaurant when the parents were running the show. When their kids are there, the food is NOT good. We got egg drop soup and two orders of cashew chicken and an order of crab angels-all to go. The crab angels were greasy and burnt. The soup was so salty, we could not eat it. It was also watery no real broth to it. The cashew shrimp was OK, but, my husband’s did not have very many cashews in it and not as much shrimp as we have had in the past. We will not be eating here again and encourage everyone else to go elsewhere. We spent a lot of money for food that we could not eat.
