Huntley's Country Stores - South Ribble

On our recent visit to this restaurant, we experienced a familiar disappointment. It took half an hour for our coffees to arrive, just like previous visits. Despite booking a table last month and being asked about the Christmas menu, we were informed today that we should have pre-booked the Christmas meal, which we believed we had already done. The beef sandwiches we ordered came on ciabatta instead of the requested bread. Overall, we left feeling unsatisfied and unappreciated. Our group has been coming here monthly for years due to convenience, but we are not recognized as regulars. While there were some good moments with the food and service, improvements are needed.

Exellent rustic surrounding lovely big tables, breakfast was lovely .The big breakfast was very filling a tasty.Food an hot drinks were very good value . The place was lovely an clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent place to eat.

8 breakfast sandwiches ordered,shocking quality,sausages under cooked bacon under cooked eggs dripping in oil,disgusting food….AVOID….Greggs down road do better quality and that’s saying something

For a lunch venue, this place is great again. I had a beef and caramelised onion ciabatta with gravy, salad, coleslaw and horseradish sauce (hot). The beef was melt in the mouth scrummy. The waiter was attentive but not interrupting all the time. The restaurant was warm, not hot and the ambience of the whole place was pleasant. A great lunch and I'll be returning very soon.

Had lunch ordered beef sandwich and chicken BLT very poor quality. Food very dry and no taste. Salad looked not very appetising. Left most of my food. When food was collected they asked how it was. Explained it was very dry. No offer of apology. Will definitely not visit again and would certainly not recommend
