Fresco Fresco - South Ribble

The pizza was terrible. There were no fresh chillies, only chilli flakes. It was greasy and not very tasty. The bill came to £80 for 1 garlic bread, 3 pizzas, and 3 beers. We feel like we were overcharged and we will not be returning anytime soon.

This was a delivery through JUST EAT on a Sunday night. A Margarita pizza with extra ingredients and two portions of tiramisu. When it arrived I saw the pizza was undercooked. The middle was wet and the tomato sauce did not cover the whole pizza. It was also COLD in the areas were it was under-cooked. It was barely edible. There were two portions of tiramisu. One was extremely as if it had been laid in pot of coffee and/or amaretto. The other portion was the complete Opposite. It was “bone dry” in fact it was bordering on being stale. I rang the FRESCO FRESCO on Monday and Tuesday evening without success. Final on the Wednesday the phone was answered and I found talking to man with foreign accent. My intention to attempt to seek some amicable resolution between myself and the restaurant. Sadly from the beginning this individual I was talking to was completely obnoxious. I was in the process of quoting the order number but was he cut me off saying “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT “. I told HIM about the delivery on the Sunday. He respond by saying “DO WANT YOU WANT! WRITE WHAT WANT, WERE YOU WANT. WE DON’T DO THAT ANYMORE, WE DON’T DELIVERY”. He continued a highly aggressive manner. If this is the quality of FRESCO FRESCO complaint handling. I would feel happy if I heard my family or my friends were patronising the tge restaurant.

Another really good meal at Frescos. This is a great local restaurant and everyone loves seeing it open again after covid. We ate steak, margarita pizza and tagliatelle. All delicious. We were too full for desserts this time but we usually have profiteroles and tiramisu. The service was very friendly and prompt the staff are very welcoming. We'll definitely be back, supporting our favourite local restaurant.

We entered the restaurant and sat for 10 minutes before our drinks order was taken. The beer arrived looking like a sundae and the lemonade in the gin was flat. Despite there being only 8 tables and five staff members, it took 20 minutes for someone to take our food order. After calling over an Italian man who appeared to be the owner or manager, he rudely stated that he doesn't take orders as he is on "pass". We had to reorder our drink with the food as it was forgotten about. The pizza was average at best and no staff member checked on us during our meal. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience, especially considering we were recommended this place by a friend.

We received a call 10 minutes after our order was supposed to arrive, informing us that it had been delivered to the wrong address. They asked if we could wait an additional 20 minutes. When the delivery finally arrived, it came with a complimentary bottle of wine and a delicious meal. Thank you for making my daughter's birthday special! The food was fantastic and arrived piping hot, and the delivery person was very kind and apologetic. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to ordering from them again in the future.
