Nothing Bakes Like A Parrott

Jessica baked us a fantastic tasting, beautifully decorated three-tiered cake for our wedding on Peaks Island and it was delivered without incident (this whole delivery to an island thing was difficult for many of our vendors to figure out! Jessica was really nice during our tasting ~6 months before the wedding and provided samples of roughly 10 different cake and icing combinations. The pricing for the cake was reasonable as well. Most importantly, the cake tasted fabulous! Every guest that I spoke to also mentioned how much they enjoyed the cake! I've been to some weddings where the cake was just a side thought, but this cake was a hit! My wife called Jessica three weeks before the wedding and asked if she could create a cake of our dog Lincoln. He wasn't going to be in the wedding but we wanted him to be there in spirit so she got me a Groom's cake and it turned out awesome! She sent her a couple pictures and Jessica went to work. Everyone thought it was awesome! We ate this cake for our 4th of July party and it tasted great a month later. We would recommend Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott to anyone getting married, having a birthday celebration, graduation or any other event. Thanks Jessica!

When I looked at the Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott Instagram page, I was simply amazed! If you can think it, they can definitely design it! The cake tasting appointment was so much fun. It was almost too hard to make a decision on flavors. We definitely ended up with the wedding cake of our dreams. It was so beautiful delicious!

We encountered the most impressive dessert table during a recent wedding we photographed at the Inn on Peaks Island! Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott supplied the desserts, and fortunately, there was a sign reminding guests to hold off on sampling them until after dinner; otherwise, we might have had a hard time capturing the display before it all disappeared! The desserts were incredibly popular, with guests returning for seconds (and let's just say, some even went for thirds, but keep that between us!). Jessica was absolutely wonderful! She turned our wedding dessert experience into a truly memorable occasion. Her organization, friendliness, and incredible talent resulted in desserts that were simply outstanding! We had several food allergies to consider (gluten-free, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, etc.), and she skillfully accommodated them all, delivering delightful treats. The cake was not only beautiful but also delicious, and the cake pops were undoubtedly the star of the evening. The presentation was flawless. Additionally, working with her during a COVID-related delay was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend hiring her!

I can't recommend Nothing Bakes like a Parrot highly enough! The owner was incredibly accessible and made the entire planning process a breeze. My wedding guests absolutely loved the desserts! The cutting cake turned out exactly as I envisioned—both stunningly beautiful and delicious. We also had leftover cake pops and mini pies that I just can't stop eating!
