Friendly's - South Portland

Stopped for Lunch on the way to the office 12/28/23. Ordered a Reuben w/fries and Coke. Excellent experience Reuben meal was delicious, service from Cathy as I recall was 5 star...can't wait to return ..in 2024 of course. No ice cream this time, but that's just fine did not need it.

An older restaurant franchise with familiar menue. Could possibly benefit from an update. Very enjoyable

Friendly's is Friendly's. They have a big menu with a lot of diner stuff, it's a little too greasy, there's all kinds of ice cream, and kids love it! Hadn't been for several years and stopped in on a whim, because someone said they were hungry for lunch just as the restaurant came into view. It was nostalgic, but also worth a visit, so we'll go again. UPDATE: Went again, shortly before closing time. Took several minutes to be seated because no one was at check-in! Once we got a booth, service was fine, food came out quickly, and we finished things off with my first banana split in more than 10 years.

I was so happy to be able to go to Friendly's today because it's been so long since I have had it.

Wonderful. My food was incredible, I am frankly shtuffed. Yeah, that’s right. Shtuffed. I will be coming back here soon, love the staff, the seats, everything. 10 out of 10.
