Dunkin' - South Portland

I just ordered a coffee and asked for five creams. It was dark enough that it could have used just two. When I asked for more, the barista rolled his eyes at me. I explained that it was supposed to have five creams, but he just shrugged while looking at the tag. He added a little more, but it still doesn’t look any different. When you pay nearly $4 for a coffee, you expect to be able to actually drink it.

This restaurant appears to lack effective management. The staff members are both rude and condescending. I attempted to order a flavored coffee, and for the third time this week, I was informed that they were out of it. When I mentioned that they frequently run out of items, one of the employees interrupted to suggest that if I was unhappy, I could go to the nearby Dunkin' Donuts. I responded with a sarcastic remark, and he agreed it was funny. Is this really the level of service one should expect? They consistently run out of most products by mid-morning. I have no idea who's responsible for inventory, but they are clearly failing. The drive-thru is possibly the slowest I have ever encountered. You end up waiting a long time, only to find employees chatting and hanging out instead of working. I visit every day for a week to get coffee for myself and my coworkers, but it’s always a frustrating experience. If you check online, past reviews reflect the same issues. Save your money and consider going somewhere else.

The staff provided exceptional service, showing remarkable dedication to being friendly even while managing a busy rush of drive-thru orders and delivery apps like UberEATS. There weren't many patrons inside the restaurant at the time. It had been a while since I'd last visited a Dunkin' without my son to assist me with my order, and I felt uncertain about what to choose. Thankfully, a wonderful employee behind the counter took the time to explain the various fruit combinations and helped me create a delicious drink! I did misplace my receipt, so I hope this review will reach someone who can acknowledge their outstanding performance. A+!

I had never visited D&D on Broadway before. At first, I was considering giving this place a rating of 2 due to cleanliness, as the counters and the bathroom were in need of a quick tidy-up. However, I was ultimately impressed by the best and hottest hot chocolate I've ever had at a Dunkin' Donuts. The blueberry muffin was delightful, and the avocado toast was perfectly prepared, just as it should be. It appeared that there were only three staff members working, but they were all very friendly and quickly prepared our orders. Still, I think they would really benefit from having a fourth person on shift. Overall, I've decided to give them a rating of 4.
