It's always a good time to stop by Cia! You never know who you might bump into. This place is a favorite among the locals. They serve fantastic coffee, delicious pastries, and tasty breakfast sandwiches. Everything is so yummy!
This is a fantastic place for a quick breakfast sandwich. The coffee was great as well! There are also many interesting items inside.
This restaurant is small but incredibly cozy, offering plenty of seating. It's very kid-friendly, complete with a comfy lounge area where parents can relax with their children. I think the charming girl on skates was named Jeannie; she’s a sweet blonde who effortlessly glides around the register and the little bakery section behind the counter. After we mentioned we were visiting Portland and would soon be returning to San Francisco, she took the time to chat with us. Her baked goods were fantastic, and the coffee was simply delicious! The atmosphere was so laid-back that we didn’t want to leave. Next time we're in town, we'll definitely come back. P.S. Jeannie, I’ll be placing the CiA sticker on the Golden Gate just for you. Thank you!
I stopped by for a coffee and a sandwich, but when I tried to pay with cash, I was informed that they only accepted card payments. This seems unreasonable at this point, especially since the explanation was tied to COVID-19 concerns. We’ve known for over a year that COVID is primarily airborne, and not related to cash handling. It appears they understand this, as they had a visible cash tip jar. I ended up paying for my coffee with my debit card, but I decided to skip the sandwich. My server was friendly and polite, and I have no issues with her. However, I won’t be returning to a place that doesn’t accept cash. It's a strange and unreasonable policy. While they have the right to make their own choices, this one seems misguided. I just saw a news report on this issue; the city council may address what appears to be a discriminatory practice. I wish the servers the best of luck.
