Nanking - South Plainfield

I had an incredible experience on my first visit to this restaurant. The ambiance was delightful, and the cutlery was impressive. The dishes we tried were beautifully presented. The service was quick, and the flavors were fantastic—every bite was delicious! I didn't sample the soup, but I heard it was a lentil and coconut recipe. My wife enjoyed the pan-fried momos, which were outstanding. For the main course, we had butter paneer masala and garlic naan, and everything was fantastic. I'm looking forward to going back!

The food was exceptional, and the restaurant was extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. It's a fantastic spot for Indo-Chinese cuisine. We ordered garlic noodles, delicious chicken, and drums of the sky, and all dishes were truly delightful and expertly prepared. We visited on a Wednesday when they had wonderful live Bollywood music. Two talented singers performed from a great Bollywood playlist, which added to our enjoyment of the meal. Overall, the prices are somewhat higher compared to many other good Indo-Chinese restaurants, but given our experience, I would definitely recommend this place for Indo-Chinese food.

We visited Spice Culture on a Monday and were seated right away. However, it took about 10 minutes for our menus to arrive. We ordered Mango Mojitos and Malibu Sunsets for cocktails, along with pan-roasted chili chicken and sky drums as appetizers. For our main courses, we chose Schezwan egg roasted rice, Schezwan vegetables, and Hakka noodles, and we finished with the Atomic Bomb for dessert. The food was served hot and the quality and taste were excellent. However, they could improve their service, and the appetizer portions felt a bit small considering the prices.

Great ambience, beautiful cutlery, delicious food, reasonable price. We ordered Veg Mandschure, flower flowers Mandschure, cool slice, chicken manschurin as lunch special among 4 people plus 4 soups were there. Tasteful. Not crowded on a weekday. Nice place to take your business customers and hang with friends. Your Moong Dal halwa was a perfect dessert!

My experience was so good, I can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for all this time and never stumbled upon this place until now. The service was excellent and kind and my food was great. I came here last minute on a cold night and the chicken tikka masala was the perfect dish to warm me up. It was smooth and creamy, the flavors were so well balanced and the chicken was very tender. I’ll be recommending this place to all my family and friends!
