Badabing Bagels - South Padre Island

A hidden gem! Excellent service and a budget-friendly breakfast option! They even have a map for guests to mark where they've come from. Such a lovely touch!

The sandwiches here are excellent, and the bagels are as close to New York-style bagels as you can get! The place is very clean, and the staff is friendly. We had a great conversation with the gentleman who prepared our food. We'll definitely be coming back!

I waited 40 minutes for my order. I would recommend hiring experienced staff for quicker service. I expected that a bagel shop would have a quick turnaround, ideally within 10 minutes, since it's just bagels and sandwiches. The kitchen didn’t seem well-equipped to handle daily customers, and the employees appeared unhappy as well, which contributed to a rather gloomy atmosphere.

They were open at 8am. But the bagels were cold, and definitely not fresh! The tomatoes bagel was really dry. They guy was checking the begals while he put them in the bag, like he was looking for mold and seeing which ones were the freshest . We paid for 3 small containers of cream cheese(which tasted very good) but were only given 2 of them. Overall the begals were not the worst I 've ever had, but I would definitely not go back again.

Very clean. Small comfy bagel joint. Friendly service. We got there at 11:20ish, so they do close at 12. Sadly, plain and other bagels were sold out. We asked for the BYO and LOX on an everything bagel. Lox bagel was delicious. The byo was also very good. We also ordered 2 coffees which are self serve from a thermos dispenser. Coffee was luke warm which was a bummer, but we didn’t address the issue. Drinks are all branded.
