Boccone South - South Orange

Excellent! Very excellent in all ways. Barvo to Silvio!

Good as always. We’ve been going to Boccone’s for over 5 years. Our friends and family always request that we go Boccone’s for dinner. The service, quality and presentation of the dishes are always excellent. Our usual server Nicole, knows what we like, we almost order as Nicole know. BROVO

Boccone South is my husband and my favorite restaurant! The food is wonderful, the service impeccable and the owner Silvio is a warm and charming host. The bread pudding desert is for dying!

The service was attentive, the food was delicious, and the prices were affordable. What more could you ask for? The halibut was fantastic, and the special monkfish with Mango Salsa was very tasty. The portions of the veal and chicken parmesan dishes were generous and well-cooked. For dessert, we enjoyed the bread pudding and chocolate peanut butter gelato, both of which were excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant will soon have to move due to the building being sold, which is a loss for South Orange but a gain for Short Hills.

So a nice restaurant with great food! I enjoyed my time eating in Boccone South! I will definitely be back”
