Bidrage med feedbackHave passed this pub so many times but never had the chance to stop. Today we were able to stop for a refreshing drink after a hot and busy day transporting wedding guests. Nice Pub will return
Arrived at 6pm only to be told they were closing due to no beer or electricity, running of a generator which we later found out was giving off carbon monoxide fumes! Came back Monday and had to wait ages to get a drink due to the bar staff being out the back chatting, should be a great pub, loads of passing boats, but not run well
Popped in for a quick pint after a very pleasant local walk. The landlady and bar staff very welcoming. Late afternoon regulars chatting around a cosy bar, just as a local should be.. The Timothy Taylor Landlord was spot on! Wish we could have stayed longer.
Have lived in the village for years and not eaten at The Royal Oak for about 6 years now as never had a great experience……… that changed today. After recent reviews highly rating the food we decided to give it another go . Amazing Sunday lunch guys , can not fault , 4 empty plates say’s everything. 100% be back with family and friends whilst this team are running the place. Roaring fire on to boot. Fantastic tasting food and an attentive team throughout.
A very warm welcome. Popped in whilst out for a family walk. Real ale, properly kept! At last a proper local pub we can walk to. Keep up the good work.
