Fairgreen Fish - South Norfolk

Selected this chippy from good reviews when staying in the area. We were not disappointed. Double yellows outside but a car park a short stroll away. You can often tell a decent chippy by the queues so this was a good sign. Excellent interaction with the friendly staff cooking to order and providing the meals in boxes which I prefer when eating in the car. Again, disposable knives and forks provided foc. I wish this chippy was my local with this fresh offering of crisp fish and chips. Perfect.

How did this chippy ever win a award , one of the most overrated chippy’s ever over priced £5.20 for sausage and chips, sausage bland just above budget value range !! no we’re near the best in Suffolk there’s loads better and cheaper chippy’s around don’t taste like chippy chips !! meal was bland , tasted just better than the rubbish you get from Cambridge Newmarket area but not by much, tried most chippy’s in east anglia this definitely not one of the best miles off in my opinion, love to know who dish these best fish and chip shop awards out !!!

Visiting the area on vacation this place was recommended to us. Not only was the fish superb but the service was also. Most friendly from the moment I stepped foot in the door and this is important to me. Thank you and do keep up your welcome manner.

OK but nothing memorable.They could do to take the skin of the fish and do it properly.Chips could do to be a bit crisper.
